Transport Gare du Nord to Eiffel Tower

Does anyone no how much it will cost and how long it will take to get a taxi from Gare du Nord to the Eiffel Tower???

A TAXI PARISIAN from the regular taxi rank at PARIS-Gare du Nord (located a few meters from the Eurostar arrival platforms) to EIFFEL TOWER will average 15€-18€.

As an alternative to a taxi, the #42--GARE du NORD/HÔPITAL EUROPÉEN-GEORGES POMPIDOU public bus route (heading in the direction of Hôpital Européen-Georges Pompidou), begins its route just outside of Gare du Nord and will take to across Paris, through Place de l%26#39;Opéra, past the magnificent GARNIER OPÉRA, aroung ÉGLISE de la MADELEINE, through PLACE de la CONCORDE, up the lower-CHAMPS ÉLYSÉES, across the SEINE at PONT de l%26#39;ALMA, along the LEFT BANK quais, and drop you off on CHAMP de MARS, in the shadow of TOUR EIFFEL...all for the price of a single Metro/bus ticket. Try to find a better %26#39;deal%26#39; in Paris.

You can also take the underground but you will have to commute a little bit so i think the bus is by far the better choice
